My Goals for 2015
We have two days left in 2014 and I have been thinking about my goals for 2015 for the past few days. The year of 2014 was great for me but I know 2015 will be even better. I have a lot to be thankful for this past year. Most importantly, my little girl was born this year. I have had so much fun and crazy times with her. She has been a blessing to our entire family. I wouldn’t change it for the world!
I have also started my profession as a fitness and nutrition coach. I absolutely love helping people reach their fitness goals. I love to eat healthy and exercise on a regular basis. My body feels energized and healthy when I take care of myself. I also love seeing the joy and excitement from my clients when they reach their goals.
The following are my goals for 2015:
1. Get at least 6 hours of sleep- I know we are supposed to get 8-10 hours of sleep but five to six hours is the most consecutive sleep I can get with a little baby. I also need to prioritize my time a little better during the day. If I get more done during the day I will not have to stay up late after my baby girl goes to bed.
2. I need to drink more water- I am so busy during the day, I forget to drink water sometimes. I can definitely feel when I am dehydrated. I feel less energetic, hungry and fatigued. I feel much better when I drink enough water throughout the day. I am going to make it a goal to drink one huge glass of water with every meal.
3. Meal prep more often- It’s no secret that eating healthy can sometimes require you to spend a little more time in the kitchen. We are all busy and we don’t have much time to spend in the kitchen. A solution to this problem would be to meal prep at least once a week. I do meal prep sometimes but not every week. My goal is to meal prep every week. When I don’t prepare meals ahead of time I find myself not eating as healthy as I should. I am going to set aside every Sunday as my day to prep meal
4. Help more people reach their fitness goals– As a fitness coach I love helping people reach their goals and seeing them succeed. I have gone through my own physical transformation and I know how tough it can be. I find that people are more likely to achieve their fitness goals when they have someone helping them and encouraging them along the way.
