Average workout vs awesome workout

The way I feel after and during the workout is what defines an average  vs an awesome workout.  Nutrition is very important for overall health and daily functioning to me.  I love to eat clean because it makes me feel healthy and full of energy.  In addition to eating clean I love drinking shakeology.  Shakeology is not just a protein shake, it has many other benefits. I notice that if I eat junk food I feel very heavy, bloated and weighed down.  Junk food contains a lot of sugar.  It immediately raises your blood sugar and you will get a quick burst of energy.  You will also crash very quickly causing a drop in energy levels.  Junk food also causes a lot of gastrointestinal issues causing you to feel sick.  A lot of moving and jumping up and down will cause discomfort.

I am currently working out to the T25 DVD by Shaun T.  I am in the last round which means that it is mostly weights.  I just had a baby about 7 months ago and I haven’t lifted much weights, I’ve been doing mostly cardio.  This is actually a challenge for me and it feels great.  I don’t consider it an effective workout unless I feel challenged and sore after I’m done.  I love the feeling after you workout and your muscles are sore and you can’t move.   I love this workout because the weights aren’t making me bulky, I’m becoming leaner.  I’m starting to see definition all throughout my body and I’m seeing definition in my abs for the first time EVER!
